Yes, Golden State Maintenance is insured and fully licensed by the Department of Industrial Relations. You can rest assured that if any accidental damage or injury occurs during the job, our insurance will fully cover it.

Is your team professionally trained?

We have a diverse team with members specializing in different areas of janitorial services, commercial cleaning, and building maintenance. We background check and vet our employees to ensure they have the proper training required for the specific jobs they will be performing.

Will I need to supply any cleaning products or equipment?

No, you will not need to supply anything. We have all of the commercial tools and equipment needed and carefully choose the best cleaning products for efficient and spotless results.

Carpet Cleaning FAQs

How often should my carpets be cleaned?

The frequency you will need your carpets cleaned largely depends on the amount of foot traffic they receive. In general, deep carpet cleaning should be performed anywhere from quarterly to annually.

How long will it take for my carpets to dry?

With our time-efficient hot steam extraction equipment, it will take about 6-8 hours for your carpets to dry and be ready for people to walk on them again. Carpet cleaning is best scheduled after hours to avoid disruptions to your business. Our team can work anytime during the day or night.

How should I prepare for carpet cleaning?

Remove as many items as you can from the carpeted area, such as plants, trash cans, and furniture. Pre-vacuum the carpet.

What types of floors need buffing?

Many types of commercial hard surface flooring should be regularly buffed to maintain their appearance. Some examples Include:

How often should floors be buffed and waxed?

Depending on the amount of foot traffic your floors see, buffing may be needed once a month to once every few months. Waxing may be done once or twice a year, but this will depend on the type of floor. Our experts will assess your floors and recommend the proper cleaning schedule.

Can you repair areas that have been damaged or scratched by moving furniture?

In many cases, scratches can be buffed out or reduced in appearance with sealants. We will be happy to assess the damaged area and discuss repair options with you.

How often does my tile and grout need to be professionally cleaned?

To extend the life of your tile and grout, reduce the need for costly repairs, and keep your tile looking its best, we recommend getting it professionally cleaned at least once a year.

How long does tile and grout cleaning take?

For an area of tile and grout that is about 300 square feet, it may take between 1-3 hours. To be the least disruptive to your business, tile and grout cleaning is best scheduled after hours, or we may be able to work in sections.

Will there be an odor?

There may be a faint scent after your tile and grout are cleaned. This scent typically dissipates within an hour or so.

How often should my business’s windows be cleaned?

For exterior windows, environmental factors will affect how often cleaning is needed. Businesses that are near bodies of water, high smog areas, and high-traffic areas will need more frequent window cleaning.

For interior windows, your industry will affect cleaning frequency. For example, office buildings may only need quarterly window washing, while restaurants need monthly cleaning to cut back on grease and food particle accumulation.

Do you clean mid and high-rise buildings?

At this time, our equipment allows us to clean exterior windows up to four stories high. We use a telescoping water-fed extension pole connected to a deionized water source system to achieve a streak-free shine safely and effectively.

Will you clean mirrors as well?

Yes. We will clean interior mirrored surfaces, as well as glass partitions.

Do you offer cleaning for apartment residences?
